bedouin.travel was formed after its founder, Saqib Khan, went for Hajj in 2006 and saw a real need to bring an improved Hajj experience to a new generation of muslims in the UK.
On returning from Hajj, he set about researching the field and has worked with some of the best of the current Hajj and Umrah tour operators in Europe to develop bedouin.travel - the next generation in authentic Hajj and Umrah experiences. In time we will develop other lesser travelled destinations within the Middle East like Iran, Jordan, Libya, Oman and Syria amongst others to muslims an non-muslims alike.
A year and a half in the making, bedouin.travel is now a fully bonded and licensed tour operator, all of our tours are ATOL protected by the bonding scheme provided by the Civil Aviation Authority.
A cornerstone of our founding values is to not take without giving back in return, we aim to do this by giving 1% of all our holiday revenue to a charity or an NGO operating for the benefit of the people within the country in which a holiday is booked.
In addition to this, bedouin.travel has adopted an NGO called Friends of The Citizens Foundation (www.FTCF.org.uk, UK Charity No.1087864) which builds and runs schools for underprivileged children of Pakistan. Our commitment to them is to donate 2.5% of all the profit we ever earn to support them in their efforts.
Further, we’ll offer carbon-offsetting on all flights booked with us through ClimateCare, an organisation that finds, develops, manages and monitors projects around the world that reduce the overall amount of carbon that goes into the atmosphere and make an impact in tackling climate change.
